ABOUT BECKY

Becky is an artist living and working between Rochester, NY and Portland, OR. She began tattooing in 2023 under the mentorship of Pamela Carvalho at Wild Isley Tattoo, and now works between Sacred Paw Tattoo (NY) and Wonderland Tattoo (OR).

Her work in tattoo, illustration, and public art are rooted in care and often collaborative, working closely with others to realize their developing ideas. She is inspired by nature, folk art, art nouveau design, and the sacred relationship between bodies and the self.

Born in Rochester, NY, Becky lived in Western Massachusetts prior to tattooing and was Co-Director of Common Folk Artist Collective, and Collections Specialist at Ferrin Contemporary. Becky holds a B.A. in Arts Management from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (North Adams, MA) and continues her arts admin work as a freelance grant writer.

When she’s not working, Becky loves to be outside backpacking, rock climbing, playing tennis, dancing at shows, and playing D&D.
