ABOUT BECKY

Becky lives and works between Rochester, NY and Portland, OR, as a multidisciplinary artist and community organizer who has been tattooing since 2023. Her work in tattoo, illustration, and public art are centered in care and often collaborative, working closely with others to realize their developing ideas. She is inspired by nature, art nouveau design, folk art, and the relationship between bodies and the self.

Prior to tattooing, Becky lived in Western Massachusetts and was Co-Director of the D-I-Y Common Folk Artist Collective and Collections Specialist at ceramics gallery Ferrin Contemporary. Becky holds a B.A. in Arts Management from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (North Adams, MA) and continues to do freelance grant-writing for small artist-driven projects.

When she’s not working, Becky loves going backpacking, playing tennis, dancing at shows, doing yoga, and rolling lots of 1s in D&D.
