Rates

  • Custom tattoos: $150/hour

  • Minimum: $100

Locations

  • My primary studio is now at Sacred Paw Tattoo in Penfield, NY (just outside Rochester).

  • I regularly guest at Wild Isley Tattoo in Dansville, NY, the Pacific Northwest (mainly Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA), and Western Massachusetts. Separate booking info is announced for these locations.

How to Request a Tattoo

  • Use the booking form linked on my home page to request a tattoo. I only review requests through this form. Please no emails, texts, or Instagram DMs about booking. If there isn’t a button to submit, it means I’m not currently accepting new requests.

  • I typically book in 2-3 month cycles as I travel regularly to the Pacific Northwest and have to work around those travel dates.

  • I prioritize FLASH REQUESTS, available flash can all be viewed here.

  • For custom requests, I prioritize black+gray and line-work and accept a small number of color projects. Please be as specific as possible in your form to ensure I know exactly what you’re looking for. If you’re flexible on the design, do say so! This helps me know what you’re open to.

  • No placements on palms, feet, necks, or heads.

  • I respond to accepted requests via email - check your Spam! I wish I had the capacity to respond to every request, but at this time I am only able to respond to accepted projects.

Scheduling & Deposits

  • The acceptance email will include links for scheduling and paying your deposit. Please do both of these steps in a timely manner to ensure you get a spot in the calendar as it can fill up quickly.

  • I tattoo Wednesday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm and typically schedule people no more than three months out.

  • I schedule 1-hour, 2-hour, 3-hour (half-day), or 6-hour (full day) sessions. I will do my best to let you know in advance if I think the tattoo will take longer than scheduled. My hourly rate is only for time under the needle. I charge a half-rate for time spent hand-drawing stencils onto the body if necessary (and will let you know in advance if this will be included in your appointment).

  • I require a non-refundable deposit to hold appointments - $50 for appointments up to 2 hours, and $100 for appointments that are 3 hours or more. Failure to pay the deposit within 48 hours of scheduling will forfeit your time slot. I honor deposits for up to a year if you need to reschedule, but it is forfeited if you reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, if you reschedule more than three times. In these cases you will need to pay another deposit for the new appointment time. The original deposit then covers the missed appointment(s).

Designs & Drawings

  • I only begin drawing after the deposit has been placed and an appointment is scheduled (in other words, I do not mock-up ideas prior to booking!).

  • I will occasionally ask to schedule a consultation if I have a lot of questions pertaining to your idea. You may also request a consultation with me if you’d like! I do not charge for consultations.

  • I typically send drawings the day before the appointment for you to look over and provide any edits. Upon request (and with enough notice), I’m happy to send a draft up to 3 days in advance. I can provide up to 2 rounds of edits (usually one over email, and one in-person at the appointment for any final touches). Any major changes outside of your original request are subject to my hourly rate and/or rescheduling of your appointment.

  • I prefer to work out smaller tweaks together in person once you’ve arrived for your appointment, it goes much quicker!

  • I do not copy other artist’s work directly and will be recreating any reference material into my own style. Exceptions to this are drawings by you, your family and friends, or designs you’ve purchased from another artist specifically to get tattooed, which I review case-by-case.

At the Appointment

  • Prep: Get a good night’s sleep and avoid alcohol the night before, and eat a full meal at least an hour beforehand. Bonus points for exfoliating the week prior to the session.

  • Location: I tattoo at Sacred Paw Tattoo at 1788 Penfield Rd in Penfield, NY. Directions and parking info will be included in your booking email. Wear clothing that will allow us to comfortable reach the area you are getting tattooed and bring a valid government-issued ID, water and snacks!

  • Payment: You’ll pay the remaining balance at the end of your appointment (the deposit comes off the last session if multiple appointments are required). I prefer Cash and Venmo, but can accept card if necessary. When guesting, I only accept cash.

  • Tipping: While always appreciated, tipping is by no means expected as I set my own rate to cover my costs. Homemade gifts, garden harvests, plants, and/or treats are very welcomed as tip alternatives too!

  • Bringing guests: you are more than welcome to bring someone with you to your tattoo appointment, but due to limited space please limit it to one additional person. We do not allow animals or children in the studio.

Scheduling A Touch-Up

  • Touch-ups are free if booked within one year of completing the original tattoo. Touch-up appointments after one year will be subject to my minimum rate.

  • Please note that fine-line tattoos will often require a touch-up due to the healing process of fine line work - I do my best to let people know this in advance if I feel your tattoo may require touch-ups.
